Skincare Empties #21

Last updated on 4 February, 2024

Finally am back with an empties post to give you an idea which products are really worth buying, which ones are hyped up. I have a mix of everything which was emptied right from eye gel to face wash to body lotion. I haven’t emptied any of these products in one month, rather have been using them over a few months, especially the face washes.

I was going to publish an empties post in the month of March, however I couldn’t do it. Do posting both the empties together.

Plum Green Tea Clear Face Mask

I totally love using this face mask and currently don’t have a back up. I am thinking of giving this mask a break as I explore other options in the mask category, especially the face masks with salicylic acid.

Plum Green Tea Night Gel

Another cult favorite night gel which am using since 3-4 years. I already have a back up of two jars. The jar lasts long time and I can’t imagine using any other glycolic acid based gel or cream instead of Plum Green Tea Night Gel.

MamaEarth Radiance Day Cream

I simply wasted my money on this day cream. It breaks me out everytime I use. I had to use it on my hands to empty it.

BellaVita Organic Vitamin C Face Wash

A very good Vitamin C Face Wash available in India, I must say. It gives instant brightening effect and reduces the appearance of white heads with regular use. The quantity however is too much for an exfoliating face wash. After using it for almost 3 months, weekly twice, I realized it is going to last me till eternity. I later used it up as a body wash.

Biotique Visibly Flawless Face Wash

I liked using this face wash to remove the sunscreen which I was using. However the scrub particles are an unnecessary addition to the face wash. I would like to skip this next time.

Mother Sparsh Plant Powered Under Eye Recovery Gel

I have used the Mother Sparsh Under Eye Recovery Gel as a sleeping mask for my eyes. The cooling and soothing feel it gives to the tired eyes is good. Quantity lasts too long and is a hydrating eye gel. If you are someone who uses under eye gels, then give the Mother Sparsh Plant Powered Under Eye Recovery Gel, a try.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I like to use a non greasy body lotion and Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion fits the bill totally. It has soothing oatmeal extracts in it and quenches the body skin. The best part is when you are down with a bad headache, applying this lotion gives you a relief sort with it’s fragrance free formula. I used up two tubes of the same. Might get it if only I get a very heavy discounts.

Lakme Peach Milk Ultra Light Gel

A light weight gel moisturizer I enjoyed using is Lakme Peach Milk Ultra Light Gel. If we ignore the heavy, artificial fragrance of the gel there is nothing to complain about this one. Affordable, easily available and lasts longer than thought, get it if you are looking for a moisturizer for your oily skin. The only thing about this is, it just made me wash my face at night as I tend to get acne if I don’t wash it off at night.

Greenie Mill Lemon balm Tulsi & Bergamot Face Wash
Another good exfoliating face wash is Greenie Mill Lemon balm Tulsi & Bergamot Face Wash. I regularly used this one during September, October month. The quantity is huge for a person who hoards too many face washes, so later on I had to use it as a body wash to empty it. I would highly recommend this face wash if you are looking for a good face wash for oily, acne prone skin.

Hopefully, I would be able to post another empties blog post by the end of May month. Stay tuned! Stay safe!
