On this blog I often share the reviews and purchases that have worked for me. But today I am sharing the products that didn’t work for me and literally feel like my money has been wasted. I usually make informed purchases when it comes to skincare especially in terms of moisturizers. However, things do go wrong sometimes and let’s dive in straight.
Minimalist Vitamin B5 Oil free Moisturizer
I picked this moisturizer since it is an oil free version and I usually stick to oil free ones. Initially I liked the moisturizer, however with regular use it felt more of a primer than a moisturizer. I didn’t feel like reaching out to this one even in summers. In winters there is not point in using it since it neither moisturizing nor hydrating.
Plum Everything Plum Body Mist
I like the Vanilla Vibes and Smoking Vanilla variants and thought of trying something new. To my utter dismay this body mist gives a headache everytime I use it. Mists don’t last long when sprayed on clothes too, but this is strong enough to even make an EDP look non long lasting. I am using this while rinsing my clothes dry for a small fragrance. The most just doesn’t fade away even when woren the whole day.
Plum Coconut Squalane Hair Serum
Can you all beleive it that I purchased this product offline at a full price in Bangalore? I was looking for a non silicone based hair serum for a shine and softness. However this is just scented coconut oil and I didn’t even read the ingredients list before buying. This just weighs down my hair and doesn’t do anything apart from that. I tried to use different quantity for a softening effect but no, it just works for a day or two. Loreal Hair Serum is far better than this one.
So these were the products that didn’t work out for me even though I make informed choices. I am going to stick to some products that work just good for my skin type. Happy New Year 2025.
