Happy New Year, hope 2026 brings in peace and happiness. I have been procrastinating in writing this blog post since a month almost. I have emptied a whole lot of products as you can see in the pictures. Some products were purchased in 2024 and I was using them for almost one and half year. Deconstruct body wash was a part of PR package that I received in 2023 and invisible sunscreen I received in the year 2025 as a PR package. Let’s get started with the empties post.
Dot and Key Blueberry Oil free moisturizer
Totally love this moisturizer and have already posted a review as well. I have emptied another tube which I left at my parents’ place. Currently I have stocked up on 2 tubes as well. I like how it hydrates my skin without being heavy or sticky. I would suggest that you try it once if you have combination to oily skin.
Dot and Key Body Lotion
I used this body lotion for the longest time as I wasn’t consistent enough to regularly use it. However, it’s a nice hydrating, moisturizing lotion without any sticky feel. The best part is, it’s fragrance free, although some may prefer fragrant body lotions, but not me! I will definitely get this one again, once I finish my stash of Biotique body lotion.
Deconstruct Salicylic Acid body wash
This body wash took ages to finish as I was alternating it with Nivea Fresh Blends Body Wash. Salicylic acid based products I don’t use on a daily basis be it for face or body. This was nice for exfoliating the skin without making it dry. It worked especially well for my back acne. I may purchase it!
Plum Orchid You Not Perfume
What a fragrance this is! I don’t know why Plum doesn’t sell this one in 50ml pack. I absolutely love the fragrance which feels good without making my head ache. Definitely getting another one. I like Orchid You Not more than Hawaiian Rumba and Vanilla Vibes.
My love for eye creams is never ending. I have used a lot of eye creams in the past 9 years and I continue to do so. However, I try and stick to the ones I have used in the past instead of experiments. Totally love Plum eye cream and now I am thinking of getting the Dot and Key Pomegranate eye cream.
Dove Beautiful Curls Hair Mask
Dove hair mask is another product which lasted me really long as you can see from its quantity. I used it as a pre shampoo hair mask and it helped in getting slightly defined curls after a shampoo. I also have used the styling gel from the same range and I didn’t like it at all.
Dot and Key Argan Shampoo is a constant, ever since I started using it. This is my second empty and I have already repurchased the shampoo. I am also currently using Rustic Art shampoo butter and Loreal Glycolic Acid Shampoo. I keep on rotating my shampoos to get all the benefits :D.
Love Story Rose Jasmine Body Wash
A very nice smelling body wash that lasted me more than a month. I received it as a part of a gift set with body lotion, bath salt and soap of the same fragrance. I have also emptied the body lotion but didn’t click any pictures.
Deconstruct Invisible Sunscreen
This sunscreen didn’t dispense at all. I tried everything to pump out the sunscreen and it didn’t dispense anything. I was unable to use it and technically this isn’t an empty but a full size product which I have to throw as I am unable to use the product.
Dot and Key Blueberry Hydrating Sunscreen
A very good sunscreen for dry skin types as it is intensely hydrating. Whenever I used it, I had to skip using a moisturizer because I would sweat a lot. Overall speaking I would say go for the Dot and Key Watermelon sunscreen if you have oily skin. Stick to this sunscreen if you have dry to normal skin type.
Nivea Fresh Blends Body Wash
This was not a good product and everytime I used it, I felt my skin turned itchy! The fragrance felt good initially and felt overwhelming later on. Overall a pass! This product has been discounted.
