Active Topicals Retinol Body Lotion is fortified with 0.2% retinol to provide anti aging benefits along with moisturization. The brand is founded around the idea of ‘Performance Skincare for the Body’. How many of us are guilty of just taking care of the face while neglecting the body skin? I think majority of us. Let’s check the Active Topicals Retinol Body Lotion Review and see if it stays true to its claims.
Active Topicals Retinol Body Lotion Review

Texture, Packaging and Fragrance
The product is available in 200ml flip cap tube. The lotion has a little runny consistency and is cream pie in colour. The product is formulated fragrance free. Although being fragrance free it has a mild, good fragrance and not something raw and that’s a good part about the lotion. The texture of the lotion is soft and smooth creamy. Moreover it is super lightweight and even if you use more than required quantity it doesn’t feel heavy.
My experience with Active Topicals Retinol Body Lotion
The product gets easily absorbed into the skin and doesn’t leave any watery or oily residue on the skin. If you are using the product on damp skin it may take a few strokes of massage to make it disappear into the skin, but dry skin absorbs it pretty quickly. It instantly makes the skin soft and healthy looking.
Since the lotion is fragrance free it doesn’t leave any significant fragrance behind and fades away quickly. As mentioned before, the product still has a mild, good fragrance as a result of the formulation but isn’t raw unlike other products that smell raw due to the formulation ingredients. This is the best part about the lotion I would say.
The lotion gives soft, bright and glowing body skin with regular use of a few weeks like 2-3 weeks. I had fractured my leg some years back and still some scars are left behind due to the stitches of the surgery. Ever since I have started using the lotion, I see a remarkable change in the even skin tone of my scarred left leg. The scars are no longer pinkish and are almost the colour of my skin. They have even smoothened out a lot making it difficult to notice the surgery place.
I am mighty impressed with the effects of the body lotion and I use it at night time. I don’t go out much during the day so I don’t use it during the day time as one needs to follow it up with sunscreen. The product is definitely value for money as little goes a long way in terms of moisturisation.

Active Topicals Retinol Body Lotion Review
The brand has nailed the formulation and gives you a good reason to take care of your body skin and not just concentrate on the face. The retinol body lotion gives bright, smooth and even skin with regular use. I can see a significant difference in my scars left by stitches of a major leg surgery. The retinol body lotion fulfils all the claims made. It not only moisturizes the skin but also helps in combatting wrinkles and dullness. I would definitely like to purchase the lotion since this one I received as a PR.
