I haven’t used any product from the Minimalist brand. I received Minimalist 3% Sepicalm Moisturiser in Nykaa Pink Box and after trying it out I am surprised with the effects of it. Let’s check out the Minimalist Sepicalm Moisturiser review.

The moisturizer is packed in a screw top plastic tube. The tube is travel friendly, leak proof and easy to use as well. My experience with Minimalist Sepicalm Moisturizer
The moisturizer is creamy in texture and yet when you blend it into the skin it feels super lightweight, absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky or oily. This is what I like the most about moisturizer. It is a non-comedogenic moisturizer with soothing and calming ingredients that makes it perfect for oily, acne-prone.
I don’t find much of a plumping effect after using the moisturizer though. This moisturizer is my go-to moisturizer currently after chemical exfoliation. Whenever I use this after a chemical exfoliation routine, it helps calm down and moisturize the skin without being heavy. I have been avoiding using any ceramide moisturizer after chemical exfoliation as it settles down into the pores.
I don’t think this product can be used in skincare layering for oily skin as it has a slightly thick texture and is a perfect blend of humectant, emollient and occlusive. People with dry skin can use another serum before using the moisturizer. However people with normal, combination and oily skin will find this moisturizer sufficient as a standalone product. Moreover, this moisturizer cannot be used beneath a sunscreen as it is immensely hydrating and moisturizing in nature. On some occasions I do sweat a bit after using this moisturizer, especially if the weather is hot.
It contains shea butter which is an excellent occlusive and locks the moisture inside our skin, but it still doesn’t feel heavy at all on the skin. This moisturizer can be a good addition to your skincare routine if you are into chemical exfoliation, double cleansing and are looking for a budget friendly moisturizer for your skin. No matter the skin type, this moisturizer will fit into your skincare routine seamlessly.

Minimalist Sepicalm Moisturizer Review
It is a perfect light moisturiser for my oily, acne prone skin. It has a slightly thick, creamy consistency yet gives a non sticky finish, blends easily and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily. However you do need to watch out for the quantity you use if you have oily skin. A little quantity is enough for hydrating and moisturizing the skin. Due to the consistency I feel it cannot be used for skincare layering or under a sunscreen. It helps calm down the skin and provides a whole day moisturizing effect. Do try it once if you are looking for a change in your moisturizer. I am sure to repurchase this one.
