In 2024 I availed Foxtale’s B2G4 offer and this Purify & Glow cleanser was one of the products. I bought the product in 2024 but got to really use it regularly only in 2025. The product is almost 80% empty and so I thought of posting a review.

How to use
As a mask: Take 2-3 pumps and apply evenly to dry face. Keep for 5 minutes, lather with water, and rinse off. For best results, use 2-3 times a week.
As a cleanser: Take 1 pump and lather on to damp face. Massage gently with water to rinse off. For best results, use daily in the morning and at night.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The cleanser is housed in a pink coloured, airless pump plastic bottle. The packaging works well and the cap fits tightly too. The product quantity is 100ml and some may find it a bulky packaging, however I wouldn’t mind traveling with this product since it’s a two in one product. The texture of the product is smooth and the consistency is thick, colour is pale pink. It takes a while to foam up the product due to thick consistency. But once worked up on it lathers up pretty good in too. The product has fragrance which has completed faded, since I am near the empty.

My experience
The face wash is thick in consistency since it has pink clay in it. The product is meant to be used as a mask cum cleanser. One can use it as a cleanser everyday and as a mask once a week. You need a small amount of the face wash for each use.
The product being thick takes time to spread on the palm as well as to foam up slowly. The product cleanses the skin nicely and reduces the oiliness. Since it’s summers I haven’t experienced any dryness after using the cleanser daily. I have been using this face wash as a body wash this summer, since it’s just not getting over, literally bored of using it now. The face wash reduces underarm odour and sweat effectively. It also reduces the oiliness on neck.
As far as using this as a mask concerns, I have used it in that way only once. I applied a lot of amount as a mask and ended up washing my face a lot, resulting in dry skin. It’s not feasible to use it as a mask by any other skin type except oily skin.
The face wash does brighten the skin temporarily, and then the skin goes back to normal after sometime. One thing I have noticed while using the product is that I haven’t experienced any acne and back acne. The only concern is the way in which the product is marketed as a mask just doesn’t work that good. I would say go for this product only if you have oily acne prone skin. Honestly speaking you can skip this face wash and stick to the basic ones that are already working for you.
Summing Up
Foxtale Purify & Glow Cleanser is a thick, pink clay based face wash that takes time to foam up but cleanses nicely. It works on reducing the body odour as well when used as a body wash. The product lasts too long due to thick consistency and less quantity required for per use. Honestly, it doesn’t work that good as a mask, since it takes too much of rubbing to remove it as a mask. I didn’t experience any acne while using this cleanser.
