Let’s see what all I shopped from House of Chikankari
When I placed my order with House of Chikankari there was an offer in which each order received a free size white palazzo. The things I ordered for myself are not one size big since Chikankari apparels are usually of lose fit and I also referred to the size chart that was provided for each product. The size fittings of the products I ordered are correct and they may require a slight alteration after washing. I received my order within 5 days. I received Whatsapp messages regularly, based on my order status.
- Imani Chikankari Rayon Straight Palazzo White – This Palazzo is of superb quality and I loved it even more than the kurta I ordered. The work on this palazzo is so intricate and delicate that I feel like I could just stare at it for many moments. Crafted from a lightweight rayon cotton blend, this stylish trouser featurea a straight fit that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to match with any type of kurta.
- Ayah Chikankari Mulmul Straight Kurta Magent – This kurta I choose in a dark shade since mulmul material is pretty thin. They have a lot of colour options for majority of the kurtas they stock up. I had liked a couple of other kurtas also but sadly my size wasn’t available. So I settled in for my favourite magenta colour. While selecting a kurta always remember that the colour may not be as bright as it seems on the website due to screen resolution. This kurta is perfect for a summer closet. It combines beautiful colours in shades like bottle green, olive green, navy blue, magenta and mustard, setting a perfect example of a colour block outfit for ladies. You may creat a whole look by pairing it with a white chikankari palazzo or a contrasting bottomwear of your choice.
- The free size palazzo that I received is of okay quality and I didn’t like it much. Since it a freebie with the order I don’t have any complaints as such but I do get it why it’s a freebie.
One thing that bothered me while choosing a kurta is that most of them were out of stock or my size wasn’t available. Another thing is for any apparel the size chosen as default is XXS and the website doesn’t ask to choose a size. Whereas I have seen a norm wherein the websites don’t select a default size rather ask to choose a size before adding the product to the cart. Sometimes people may just ingnore the selected size and order a wrong size. So to prevent a hassle-free shopping experience regarding the size, I feel the website must incorporate the idea of choosing the size before adding a product to the cart.
The website loads very fast given the fact that it has around 3-4 pictures of each apparel. The product section is divided into bottom wear, kurtas, dresses, co-ord sets etc. I found the search functionality of the website pretty useful to find kurtas of particular variety.
House of Chikankari offers an array of options making it possible for you to rock the Chikankari look in your unique fashion.
