Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The clay mask is housed in a simple plastic tub with a cap. The full size has a little different shape than this one. The texture of the clay mask is creamy, smooth and soft. The consistency of the mask is little thick, but nothing which cannot applied uniformly with a finger or face pack applicator. The face mask spreads across the skin like a dream. The colour of the mask is muddy grey and it doesn’t stain as such. As soon as you open the jar you will be greeted with a little alcoholic kind of fragrance, nonetheless it doesn’t last longer when you apply. So that’s not a bothering point for anyone.
My experience with Innisfree Clay Mask
As mentioned in above section, the consistency and texture is Innisfree Clay Mask is a dream. It spreads across the face easily and I can apply a uniform layer all over the face. The clay mask dries up in some 8-10 minutes and turns faint grey upon drying. The clay mask tightens a bit, after drying up. The texture is beautiful while applying but at the same time is a pain to wash off. You might need lukewarm water to wash it off fully. I keep on splashing water to remove it with fingers as it just refuses to go off.
The face mask is a unique combination of volcanic clay coupled with AHA for gentle exfoliation. Innisfree volcanic clay mask deeply cleanses the skin while leaving it softer and brighter than before. The pores appear smaller and t-zone does feel well cleansed with each application. I also didn’t find any walnut shells or any particles as such in the mask. This is my first Innisfree product and am very much impressed with it.
Although I didn’t notice any reduction in blackheads and whiteheads even after using it for 10 times till now. Also the product is little heavy on pockets but given the fact that little goes a long way, I haven’t even finished 20ml yet. So 100ml pack will definitely last you a few months and you can pick it up at discounted rate from Nykaa. I am unsure if I will buy the 100ml but am definitely eyeing the 20ml pack.

Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask 2X Review
I have been using the clay mask for a while now and I’m happy with its effects. I like the way this creamy mask works on my oily, acne prone skin. It doesn’t dry out the skin at all and helps in cleansing the pores while gently exfoliating the skin and leaves it soft and firm. Definitely one of those rare clay based mask which deep cleanses and exfoliates while maintaining the balance of the skin. I think this clay mask and another moisturizer which I use have helped with acne since I had two which have just vanished without a mark. The Innisfree clay mask is worth the price and I would I recommend this product. Although I might purchase the small 20ml for regular use! Innisfree Clay Mask can be termed as the best clay mask in India.
