Cucumber is a very beneficial ingredient when it comes to oily acne prone skin due to it’s hydrating and toning effects. I have never used a face wash with cucumber extracts or cucumber pulp in it so I was excited to use Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash.

I have been using Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash for around 25 days and here is my review.

How to use Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash?

  1. Take a small quantity of it in your palm.
  2. Apply it over wet face.
  3. Massage gently in circular motion.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with soft towel.

Packaging, Consistency and Fragrance of Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash
Packaging is simple flip top cap tube which is common for the face wash packaging. The colour of tube is white and cap top fits in tightly. Packaging is travel friendly. The consistency of the face wash is a little runny and as soon as we open the flip cap top the face wash is dispensed on your hand. The colour of the face wash is very pale, light green. The fragrance of the face wash is a little Cucumber like. The fragrance is not at all strong and is non lingering as well. I like this fact very much and fragrance is soothing. Although the product has fragrance and colour in it’s ingredients. The face wash has some pink beads in it which when pressed along with water turn into foam.

Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash Review

I have been using this face wash as a part of my PM (night time) skincare routine. I have used it standalone as well as a part of my double cleansing routine. The face wash foams quite mildly in hard water supply. It creates a soft foam and cleanses the skin nicely. I sometimes do the 1 minute cleanse routine with this and it hasn’t irritated or made my skin stretchy.

I sometimes use this face wash twice a day and it hasn’t made my skin dry or left it dehydrated. I like the fragrance of the face wash as it is very mild and non lingering. The face wash cleanses the skin nicely and when used a part of double cleansing it removes the oil residue very nicely. A little goes a long way in case of Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash. You need very very less quantity for each use and the 100 ml tube won’t get over for another 5 months I think.

The face wash claims to be helpful in controlling blemishes and acne and I can’t say 100% if helps in this area. Although after including this face wash in my routine I haven’t experienced any acne as such. I don’t think a face wash alone can help in controlling acne or blemishes. Acne and blemishes are a result of many things.

Overall Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash will suit all skin types although dry skinned beauties should include it in their routine a little thoughtfully.

Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash Review

Roop Mantra Cucumber Face Wash is a good face wash to try out for oily acne prone as a day to day cleanser. It fits nicely into a double cleansing or single cleanse routine. Moreover the face wash doesn’t dry out the skin when used twice a day. I like the mild fragrance of the face wash although it contains added cucumbers fragrance. The product is also quite affordable and value for money. I already have a backup of this face wash. You won’t regret picking it up if your skin is oily, combination or normal.
