I received the Simple Face wash in my Nykaa Pink Box. I was elated to use it since it was on my wishlist since a long time. The product is worth the hype as I have seen many people use this regularly. Let’s dive into the Simple Face wash review.

Simple Face wash review
Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The face wash is housed in a big green color plastic tube with flip top cap. The quantity is huge as compared to the price. The texture is gel while consistency is a bit runny, slimy and resembles a lot to gooey aloe vera gel. Since it is a gel face wash the color is transparent. Simple face wash is free from artificial perfume, fragrance as well as color. The product doesn’t have any fragrance, but feels soothing and calming to the skin every time you use it.
My experience with Simple Face wash
As the name suggests Simple Face wash is really simple and just performs the job of cleansing gently. It is a face wash that can be used by all skin types. It foams up nicely and cleanses the skin gently while leaving it soft and smooth. The cleanser is a good fit in anyone’s morning routine. It is formulated with mild soap-free formulation that cleanses without irritation.
The skin doesn’t feel squeaky clean and the cleanser will just glide on the whiteheads (if you have them). Someone who is looking out for a squeaky clean feeling post using a cleanser, this cleanser isn’t for them. The cleanser is designed keeping gentle cleansing in mind and it effectively does this job. Whenever I use an emulsifying cleansing oil, I try to use this one as my skin gets dehydrated if I use much foaming cleansers regularly in my double cleansing routine. This is a constant in my current morning skincare routine and I just love it.
On many occasions I have used this three or four times in a day while travelling and it doesn’t dry out the skin. Be sure to use a little quantity as it lathers up nicely provided you give it some time. It is very easy, to use more quantity than required due to the very runny consistency of the face wash. Inspite of using more than required quantity the face wash doesn’t dry out my oily, acne prone skin.
With many skincare fanatics using active ingredients like AHA, BHA, Vitamin C in their routine this might be a must-have cleanser for them. Sometimes chemical exfoliators can irritate the skin and in such cases even washing a face can be a task with normal cleansers. The Simple Face wash is perfectly apt if you ever face damaged skin barrier or have gone overboard with chemical exfoliation. Any skin type can use this as a morning cleanser because the cleanser provides dual action of cleansing gently while making the skin soft and smooth.

Simple face wash review
Simple face wash is really simple in terms of efficiency. The face wash cleanses the skin well without drying out or stripping off the natural sebum. However due to the gentle cleansing it might not be the right choice for oily skin as a standalone cleanser in the PM skincare routine. Being said that the face wash is perfect fit as a morning cleanser and as a second cleanser in double cleansing. The product is a good pick if you have damaged the skin barrier and are not able to use any face wash.
