Skincare Empties #24

Last updated on 5 April, 2024

Consistency and patience is something you should have while doing your skincare routine. I have been consistently using sunscreen these days and am using up too many products these days. I have a few empties to share with you all and here we go.

True Frog Cleansing Gel

An unique cleansing gel having a texture between balm and oil. Initially when I used the gel, it was little thick. Late on as weeks passed by the texture started becoming runny in consistency. The gel emulsifies well and rinses off easily. It is a good option to remove sunscreen and make-up on a day to day basis. I might skip purchasing this one as I like Suganda Squalane Cleansing Oil as of now.

True Frog Face Wash

This face wash is aimed at reducing acne due to Zinc PCA that prevents acne formation and pore blockage. I didn’t find any major difference in my acne while using it. I don’t have much acne problem, but if I did get a zit or anything this one didn’t help. The face wash lasts long and foams really well. I would suggest you to use this as a standalone product and not in double cleansing routine. The face wash has exactly same fragrance as of Plum Green Tea Face Wash.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is another great oil based cleanser in India. Although it is a little heavy of pockets, the sample size bottle is travel friendly, compact and easy to carry around otherwise.

Plum Morning Dew Day Cream

I picked this cream to treat my oily yet dehydrated skin but turned out that this one clogged my pores. That’s what they call boy using products according to your skin type. This cream is for normal, combination skin types. I used this up as a body moisturizer.

Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

One of the best clay mask in India is how I would like to describe Innisfree Clay Mask. I like the consistency, texture and performance of the clay mask. It doesn’t dry out the skin at all and keeps acne at bay. I would definitely like to pickup a full size.

Earth Rhythm Oil Free Moisturizer

Earth Rhythm oil free moisturizer is a good option to be used under your makeup or sunscreen. I thoroughly enjoyed using the product. Once the product reached 1/4th of its capacity, the product wasn’t been dispensed properly. I somehow had to use a spatula to take the product out. I will not be repurchasing the product due to packaging problem as well as the fact that Plum Oil Free Moisturizer is better than this.

Soultree Licorice Shampoo

I received a sample size product with my smytten box and I liked the shampoo. It is a SLS and SLES free shampoo that lathers pretty well and removes oil from scalp. I might try a full size in future.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion

My go-to lotion during the winter months and my constant for hand care. I keep on purchasing this one for my son as well. So I would not say anything about the repurchase.
Hope you all enjoyed reading the blog post. We will be back with another review of a product to make your purchase decisions easy and simple.
