They say if you aren’t using a good sunscreen in your routine then all your skincare steps are futile. Sunscreen is important all round the year irrespective of the fact whether you are using active ingredients or not. Finding a good sunscreen in the Indian market has been very easy since many brands are coming up with effective formulations that leave minimal. Today we will check the Re’equil Sunscreen Review For Oily Skin that was gifted to me by one of my fellow bloggers.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
Re’equil Sunscreen is available in a sleek, white squeeze tube with a nozzle dispenser. The packaging is pretty easy to use and travel-friendly. Re’equil Ultra Matte Dry Touch Sunscreen has a thick cream kind of texture with a velvety yet dry touch.the colour has a slight cream tinge to it. The product has a typical sunscreen kind of fragrance which fades away as soon as you apply. People who follow the three finger rule for sunscreen might not be able to ignore the fragrance.
My experience with Re’equil Ultra Matte Dry Touch Sunscreen Gel
It is a siliconey sunscreen having both physical as well as chemical filters for sun protection.
The sunscreen agents are Octinoxate, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Bisethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine.
It gives a primer-like effect to the skin when you apply it. I have tested the sunscreen with and without a moisturizer. It works better with moisturizer while applying but sweats. If we don’t apply the moisturizer while applying it might crumble a bit. However I always make it a point to blend siliconey feel sunscreens by applying them in one direction steadily and not rub in both directions.
Coming to the application part, it does leave a little bit of white cast and takes time to blend into the skin completely due to the texture. The sunscreen is truly dry touch with a velvety feel and zero stickiness or oiliness. I usually don’t reapply my sunscreen so won’t be able to tell regarding reapplying. I have also read some reviews as to how well this works under make-up, however me being a no make-up person has zero opinions on this. The sunscreen also doesn’t irritate the eye area at all even if you apply it near the eyes.
The sunscreen can be easily removed using an oil based cleanser or double cleansing. I haven’t seen any acne or clogging of pores while using sunscreen. The only thing is you might as well have to use a moisturizer beneath it to make the application easy. The brand claims the sunscreen to be waterproof and sweat proof. I don’t experience any sweating when I am at home even with a moisturizer beneath it. However, when we use a mask it does sweat a bit. Now, this should be a testing norm for brands to make a sweat proof sunscreen for masks (just kidding).

Re’equil Ultra Matte Dry Touch Sunscreen Gel Review
Re’equil has nailed the formulation of this sunscreen. The silicone based sunscreen gives a pretty comfortable velvety yet dry touch finish. The fact that it has a little pore blurring formula gives a whole new look to the skin. Moreover it has SPF 50 and provides broad spectrum protection with PA++++. I would absolutely recommend the sunscreen as it is non comedogenic and suitable for oily, acne prone skin type.
I hope this Re’equil Sunscreen Review is useful to you while making the purchase
