Sunscreens are to be used all round the year, although a few people tend to use them only during summers. Summers are in full swing in India and using a good broad spectrum sunscreen is a must. Today am going to post the BeBodywise Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Review.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance

The sunscreen is packed in a tube packaging with a fully removable cap. The packaging is travel friendly. The texture is lotion sort and consistency is runny. The product smells of a commercial dusting powder which just fades off upon application. The sunscreen is ultar white in colour and some may find white cast problematic which we will discuss in next section.

My experience with BeBodywise Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen

Before heading to the review let me tell you that I tend to skip my moisturizer when am using a sunscreen. I don’t reapply a sunscreen, not just this sunscreen, be it any sunscreen. So the review mentioned below, is to be considered by keeping these two things in mind.

The sunscreen has a SPF of 30 which the brand claims to be broad spectrum. It is hybrid sunscreen that contains both physical and chemical sunscreen ingredients. Coming to the consistency, it is a lotion sort and gets absorbed into the skin with a few strokes. It does leave a white cast which settles with a little effort (contains Titanium Dioxide).

The sunscreen doesn’t sweat or feel oily post application. I have tested the sunscreen in hot afternoons for grocery shopping by walking with a mask on. I was surprised to see that the sunscreen doesn’t sweat at all. My nose has the tendency to sweat a lot in the summers but with this sunscreen it absolutely didn’t sweat.

Coming to the non comedogenic claims of the brand, they are true in case of my oily, acne prone skin. I have consistently used the sunscreen for 15 days and it didn’t cause me any acne or zits. Even after 4-6 hours of application the skin doesn’t become oily or sweaty. I won’t be able to tell you how this one fairs with reapplication. However the sunscreen isn’t waterproof and am okay with this.

The best part about the sunscreen is, it gets washed off with a commercial foaming cleanser and doesn’t need double cleansing. This makes the usage of sunscreen easy without worrying about which double cleansing products to use. Considering the quantity offered by the brand this should last you 20-21 days if not one month. The price of the sunscreen is pretty affordable keeping in mind the job this sunscreen performs without giving any acne.

BeBodywise Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Review

BeBodywise sunscreen is a good sunscreen to be used by oily and acne prone skin. Due to the lotion consistency of the sunscreen it will be suitable for even dry, normal skin types. The sunscreen doesn’t sweat and make my skin oily. It is a hybrid sunscreen with a broad spectrum protection. The price is fairly affordable keeping in mind the fact that the sunscreen absolutely doesn’t clog pores or lead to acne. If you are looking for an affordable sunscreen with good broad spectrum protection then give this one a try. I might pick up this sunscreen again.
