In the quest for thicker, healthier hair, I am willing to try almost anything. So, when Juicy Chemistry sent over their hair growth products, I was excited and more than willing to use them and followed a dedicated haircare routine. I spent the last 6-7 weeks testing the Stemcells & Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum, Rosemary Hydrosol and Chilli + Rosemary Hair Growth Oil to see if they actually work.

Since I was using three products simultaneously, to maximise the results, I layered the products by following the routine like this
Daily Maintenance: Mist the Organic Rosemary Water Hydrosol directly onto my scalp every morning or afternoon. Sometimes, use it as a last rinse on hair wash days.
Night Actives: Apply the Stemcells + Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum four times per week directly onto the scalp at night, massaging it gently.
Weekly Treatment: Twice a week, apply the Chilli + Rosemary Hair Growth Oil as a pre-shampoo treatment only on the scalp. Leave it overnight and wash it off thoroughly the next morning.
Consistency is everything when it comes to hair growth, be it hair growth products or a well-balanced, nutritious diet. Hair growth products can’t outrun poor nutrition. Healthy hair starts with nutritious food.
Juicy Chemistry Rosemary Hydrosol
Juicy Chemistry Rosemary Hydrosol is a steam-distilled hydrosol designed to support hair growth and balance the scalp and hair. Using a hydrosol is a good way to deliver the active compound (rosmarinic acid) directly to the scalp, which encourages hair growth and combats hair thinning.
It helps stimulate the blood circulation to the follicles while promoting healthy growth, reduces hair fall by strengthening roots, and regulates excess oil without leaving any sticky residue.
It comes in a spray bottle that makes misting the scalp easy. The hydrosol has a pleasant rosemary smell, which feels refreshing and cooling to the scalp, especially in this harsh Indian summer. I have noticed less hair shedding with consistent use after several weeks. Moreover, it doesn’t leave any sticky residue even with daily usage.

Juicy Chemistry Hair Growth Serum
In addition to rosemary hydrosol, I am also using the Hair Growth Serum from Juicy Chemistry. The Juicy Chemistry Stemcells + Multi-Peptide Hair Growth Serum is a lightweight, leave-in scalp serum formulated to reduce hair fall, strengthen the roots, and boost hair density. This serum is packed with clinically backed ingredients designed to target dormant follicles directly. However, to notice significant changes, one has to consistently use the serum for months.
The consistency of hair growth serum is slightly slimy yet non-sticky, which makes it easy to massage and gets absorbed pretty quickly into the scalp. If you regularly use hair oil, apply the hair growth serum before applying the hair oil.
The product has no fragrance and keeps the scalp moist without feeling heavy or sticky. I have noticed slightly less hair shedding after using this for 4 weeks. The serum is powered by Redensyl and AnaGain to stimulate stem cells, reawaken sleeping hair follicles, and promote thicker strands. The multi-peptide complex helps in minimising the daily shedding, while the turmeric stem cell extracts support the anagen phase of the hair.

Juicy Chemistry Chilli, Horsetail & Black Seed Hair Oil
Juicy Chemistry Chilli, Horsetail & Black Seed Hair Oil is their best-selling product, which I use twice a week. The lightweight, orange-hued hair growth oil has a fresh botanical fragrance to it. On first usage, I felt a slight tingling sensation on my scalp, which was short lived. The hair oil is easy to wash off and doesn’t give much hair fall in the shower as well. With regular exercise and scorching heat, I am unable to use the hair oil consistently. However, both hydrosol and hair serum have worked well for my hair shedding, and I would recommend you use these along with the hair oil.

Summing Up
If I had to rank the above products based on their ease and efficiency, I would rank Rosemary Hydrosol first and then the hair oil or hair serum. Hydrosol can be used on the go and doesn’t require any maintenance, such as washing off, unlike the hair oil. The hair serum is also a good choice to tackle hair fall, but not everyone has the budget to fit it into their monthly expenses. Lastly, the hair oil, if you love using hair oils, then I would definitely recommend the hair oil as your hair growth product. Juicy Chemistry literally has all the hair growth products that will fit into your hair care routine, so choose the one that you find apt. My favourite is Rosemary Hydrosol!!
