Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The deodorant is packed in a brown, tinted, glass jar with a metal cap. The product comes with a small wooden spoon meant to scoop out the deodorant. The texture of the deodorant is smooth and soft cream sort and its consistency is lightweight that is easily absorbed into the skin. The lavender fragrance is prominently exhibited by the deodorant. The fragrance is not at all strong and fades easily without a few minutes of application.
My experience with Juicy Chemistry deodorant
The deodorant readily absorbs into the underarm skin without feeling greasy, oily or tacky. It has a feather-light texture and perfect consistency and feels as if you haven’t applied anything. It neither transfers onto the clothes nor does it stain light-coloured fabrics since I own a handful of pastel pink and yellow apparel.
Upon regular use, I realised how my underarms didn’t sweat excessively while walking or travelling in the hot sun during the day. Without any deodorant, my underarms sweat so much that I get sweat patches on my dress. Juicy Chemistry deodorant has been my saviour all of this summer and I don’t see myself using anything else throughout the year.
When I started using it, I felt the fragrance could have been slightly stronger than what it is currently. However, after using the deodorant regularly and consistently for one month, I realised that Juicy Chemistry deodorant neutralizes the sweat odour instead of masking it with its fragrance. It not only neutralizes the sweat odour but also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. With regular use, my underarms don’t smell tacky even when I am not using the product. It has indeed improved the underarm skin texture as well.
The deodorant is also easy to wash off and doesn’t require any additional care. It can be easily removed with lukewarm water and soap. If at all you apply in excess, first wipe off with a tissue and then proceed with soap and water. It doesn’t cause any build-up or heaviness on the skin even with daily use.
