Skincare, Haircare Empties #37

It’s been a really long time I posted skincare, haircare and bodycare empties. I have collected many empties and would be dividing them into two empties blog posts. As of now I am posting this blog post to give you can idea about which products are worth your money. All the products are purchased and none of them are PR.

Foxtale Purify & Glow Cleanser
A thick, pink clay based face wash that takes time to foam up but cleanses nicely. The cleanser lasted me so long that it was 80% over in May 2025 and I had bought it in 2024. It works on reducing the body odour when used as a body wash. The product lasts very long due to thick consistency and less quantity required for per use. Honestly, it doesn’t work that good as a mask, since it takes too much of rubbing to remove after using as a mask. I didn’t experience any acne while using this cleanser.

Foxtale Oil Free Moisturizer
I would say this is a very affordable option for daily use as an oily, acne prone skin person. It keeps the skin hydrated without clogging the pores and helps in minimising them. The affordable price is something I like about this moisturizer nad it’s fragrance is something I absolutely despise about it. If you are looking for an oil free moisturizer in India, then give this one a try.

Plum Bulgarian Rose and Hyaluronic acid gel cream
When I purchased this gel cream, it worked good on my oily acne prone skin especially in summers. After emptying one jar I immediately restocked it. Later on I noticed that this gel cream isn’t sufficient in hydrating my skin and causes an increase in whiteheads. One of my blogger friends also had a similar experience so as of now I have half a jar of this remaining as is and this one in picture is an empty.

Dot and Key Strawberry Cleansing balm
It took me really long time to empty this cleansing balm. The cleansing balm is nice and hydrating one but requires a little more efforts for emulsifying. This cleansing balm is more suitable for dry to normal skin types rather than combination, acne prone skin. The fragrance lasts even after applying a moisturizer, so if you have a sensitive nose it may seem too much of fragrance. Overall, a budget friendly cleansing balm, use lukewarm water if possible. It helps in removing makeup with ease.

Plum Coffee hand cream
I had received this hand cream long back and I had forgotten it at my mom’s place. Last time I brought it back and started using it. It’s a non greasy and non sticky hand cream that works good even as a foot cream. The only thing that I don’t like about Plum hand creams is the price tag, it’s so costly! The hand creams are worthy only if you get them as a freebie!

Plum Squalane Sunscreen
This an oil-free sunscreen with new generation UV filters and offers broad-spectrum protection of SPF 50+ PA+++. It doesn’t give a hydrating effect but will give a slightly of matte effect for oily skin. The texture is thick and blends easily and feels feather light on the skin. Moreover, it doesn’t clog pores or cause any acne for my oily and acne-prone skin. It doesn’t irritate the eyes and can be easily removed with or without an oil-based cleanser. A sunscreen with new generation UV filters at this price point would be worth trying out. I am pretty consistent with this sunscreen.

Earth Rhythm Butter Cream Soap
I had use this one long back when they had a glass jar packaging. I instantly ordered last year and it lasted me throughout the year. Butter cream soaps are a good option if you are travelling and don’t want any spilling or bulky shower gel packs. The best part of it is that you can scoop it in a small jar as well. Butter cream soap comes in handy if you are into shaving your legs and arms. I might as well try another variant of this one soon.

Bare Anatomy Ultra Smoothing Shampoo
I have posted a review of this shampoo and how it smoothens the hair out. Later on when I again restocked it and started using, I experienced hairfall. I stopped using the shampoo and my hairfall subsided. I don’t know what went wrong this time. Either the brand has changed the formula or my hair just got smart! Not going to buy it again!

That’s it for today. Next month I will post another empties post. Happy Skincare!
