Finding a good ceramide moisturizer is no big task these days. However finding the one that suits oily, acne prone skin is a little tough task. I recently got a chance to use the Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer and I am impressed with its hydrating and nourishing properties. Let’s check out the Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer review.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The moisturizer is housed in a flip cap tube. You can control the amount of quantity you dispense. The packaging is easy to travel with and leak proof. The moisturizer has a fluffy, cream texture that is smooth and soft. The consistency is slightly thicker than a lotion but is not too dense like a heavy cream. The texture of Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer is the USP when it comes to the efficacy of the product. The product is fragrance free but has a mild fragrance to it probably of the formulation itself. You won’t notice the fragrance unless you have a picky nose that detects even mildest fragrances.
My experience with Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer
The brand has mentioned that the product is formulated for very dry to combination skin types. However due to the texture it still suits my oily skin perfectly well. The product needed for each use is very little. It spreads across easily on the skin but needs little bit of massage to get absorbed fully. The product leaves zero greasiness and doesn’t feel heavy at all.
I use the moisturizer twice per week in my PM routine since I regularly use a salicylic acid serum, niacinamide serum as well as vitamin C serum (on different days of course). Whenever I follow chemical exfoliation, I like to use the Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer to soothe and nourish my skin. After using this moisturizer, I realised how it moisturizers the skin without settling into my super clean pores post chemical exfoliation.
Most of the ceramide based moisturizers deeply nourish the skin and thoroughly moisturize it. So I tend to use them in my PM routine. Taking into consideration the onset of summers it makes sense to use them in a PM routine unless you want to sweat a lot during the day. I also use this moisturizer as a hand cream and it makes them soft and smooth sans the greasiness.

Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer Review
This moisturizer is purely love in the form of a ceramide moisturizer that strengthens the skin barrier. It is easy on the pocket and performs well even on oily skin in spite of not being formulated for oily skin. It not only sufficiently nourishes the skin but at the same time doesn’t feel heavy at all. I would definitely recommend you to try this moisturizer if you are looking for a good ceramide moisturizer. After trying out the Deconstruct Skin Soothe Moisturizer I realised that a well formulated product can suit all skin types when used rightly. There are a not a lot of options for oily skin when it comes ceramide based moisturizers. Although the product doesn’t have any greasiness I wouldn’t advice to use it on a daily basis if you have acne prone skin.
