Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The peel is housed in a thick, frosted white glass bottle with a white dropper. The glass bottle isn’t dark in colour and need to be kept away from the sunlight. The dropper pumps up sufficient amount of peel for each use. The peel is transparent in appearance and doesn’t have any significant fragrance. The product is free from synthetic fragrance and essential oils. The texture of the chemical peel is like a glue but not sticky. The consistency of the product is thick enough so that it doesn’t drip from your face whenever you apply it and thin enough to spread it out in an uniform manner. The consistency and fragrance is the best part of the peel. I appreciate the fact that the brand has nailed it with the texture and consistency.
Plum Green Tea Exfoliating Peel Review
It is a beginner friendly peel in every sense. It doesn’t tingle much or cause any irritation to the skin. The results are alike, it won’t reduce whiteheads fully or give smooth skin instantly if you do not have any other actives in the routine.
The 10% AHA in this chemical peel is made up of 5-fruit AHA mix naturally derived from sugarcane, oranges, lemon, bilberry and sugar maple. The concentration of BHA is 0.5%. The 5% PHA gently exfoliates the skin without irritating it. The aloe and rose plump up the skin while giving a hydrating effect wherein the other ingredients work upon exfoliation.
When I used it for the first time I felt a very mild tingling sensation which just lasted for 5-7 seconds. Once your skin builds tolerance for this peel, it will feel as if it doesn’t work at all on your skin. Later on after a few uses, I had to apply more than required quantity of the peel to yield some visible results.
The peel reduces the whiteheads up to a point that you can feel how smooth your nose becomes but it doesn’t bring any glow to the skin. It helps reduce the appearance of blackheads with consistent use and reduces acne marks very slightly. After using the peel I always follow up with a fragrance free moisturizer.
The peel is a good one to use as a beginner chemical peel to build up the skin’s tolerance for higher concentration of AHA and BHA. Once you are comfortable using this peel you can switch to other intermediate concentrations. If you directly use higher concentration of AHA BHA peel you may experience severe purging.
If you have oily skin then this peel might work good when your routine contains other actives (Vitamin C, Glycolic acid etc.) . On the other hand, people who do not have any other actives in their routine and having whiteheads and/or blackheads may feel that this peel isn’t working for them. This peel is good as long as your skin builds tolerance for AHA BHA. I would recommend this peel to those who are looking for a beginner friendly chemical exfoliation.

Plum Green Tea Exfoliating Peel Review
It is a beginner friendly peel that doesn’t irritate the skin or cause any tingling or purging. The results are alike, it won’t reduce whiteheads fully or give smooth skin instantly. Although the skin does feel a bit plumped up after using the peel. The peel reduces the whiteheads up to a point that you can feel how smooth your nose becomes but it doesn’t bring any glow to the skin. On the other hand, people with oily to combination skin with whiteheads and/or blackheads may feel that this peel isn’t working for them after a point (provided you do not have any other actives in your routine). This peel is good as long as your skin builds tolerance for AHA BHA.
