A fact I have made peace with is that eye creams alone can’t reduce the darkness around the eyes. A good sleep, proper diet and reduced screen time go a long way in reducing them. Although using a cute little pot or tube of eye cream in your routine can feel exhilarating. I have used many under eye creams only to find that I have loved Sebamed Eye Cream the most out of the lot. And today we are going to check the SoulFlower Herbal Vitamin C Under Eye Cream Review.

Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The SoulFlower eye cream is available in 15ml tube with a white and silver colour combination. The cap has a twist up mechanism and is fully removable. The texture of the eye cream is very light weight and doesn’t feel heavy at all. The color is normal white (meaning not ultra white) and it is has a faint herbal fragrance. The packaging is very travel friendly, compact and good, keeping in mind the ease of use and hygiene as compared to the tub one. The fragrance doesn’t last long and fades off as soon as you apply.
My experience with SoulFlower Eye Cream
The brand claims of the eye cream being non-oily, non-greasy are absolutely true. The cream leaves zero residue upon application and leaves the under eye area supremely mattified. With regular use my upper eye lids which are oily otherwise, have become less oily. I have used the cream last year during September and again now during January and February.
I majorly picked this eye cream for the Vitamin C claims while being a herbal eye cream. The eye cream contains some remarkable ingredients like Rosehip Oil, Licorice Extract, Seaweed Extract, Chamomile Oil, Calendula Extract, Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Lactic Acid, Oat Extract. Whenever I apply the required quantity, it absolutely leaves no trace behind and under eye area looks normal. It gets absorbed like a dream while leaving a matte finish. You won’t feel like you have applied anything, it is that light weight.
To be very honest, I didn’t expect this cream to work on my dark circles. It did take 2 full months to notice a visible result for dark circles to fade off from the outer corner of my eyes. The vitamin C, lactic acid and other ingredients in the eye cream actually work, although a little bit slowly. I haven’t experienced any irritation or eye watering while using the eye cream. Initially when I bought the product, I did patch test it to be sure. The downside of the eye cream would be the results stop once you stop using the eye cream. Sun exposure also contributes to under eye darkening so you can apply a good sunscreen near your eyes.
But at the same time, my under eye area looks parched as of it is in dire need of moisture or water. The eye cream isn’t too moisturizing due to its light weight nature and this maybe a concern for people who are looking for moisturizing one. The fragrance is also a bit off and not alluring. It can be, however, ignored since it doesn’t last too long. At the same time this eye cream will be perfectly suitable for people who are prone to milia or who are looking for an eye cream solely to reduce under eye dark circles.

SoulFlower Herbal Vitamin C Under Eye Cream Review
SoulFlower Eye Cream contains some amazing ingredients including Vitamin C, lactic acid which help in fading off dark circles. The cream is very light weight and doesn’t feel heavy unlike other eye creams and takes considerably more time to show effects. It can be easily used twice per day without any problem. The fact that in spite of being a herbal eye cream it hasn’t irritated my eyes. My eyes can’t tolerate much EOs or other stuff when it comes to eye cream. The cream can also be considered to be suitable for people with milia, as the texture isn’t heavy. While the eye cream is light weight, it doesn’t moisturize the eye area much. With regular use the area does look a little parched. If you are looking for an under eye cream for dark circles you can give this one a try! But remember it isnt much moisturizing!
