Deyga Organics Beetroot lip balm  Packaging, texture and fragrance

Package is in an aluminum tin. It is a cute little tin which is travel friendly. The texture of the balm is a little waxy and not buttery. If you want to scoop out the balm you need to scratch the balm with a tooth pick or a spoon end. The fragrance of the lip balm is predominantly coconut oil.

My experience with Deyga Organics Beetroot Lip Balm

I have pigmented lips and so am into tinted lip balms instead of normal ones. Normal balms I use at night whereas tinted ones I use during the day. Deyga Organics Beetroot lip balm forms a waxy layer on the lips while moisturizing them a bit.

The moisturization stays for around 5 hours after which my lips start feeling dry and I feel the need to reapply the balm. As far as the tint is concerned it fades away within minutes of application. It does leave a little tint behind which stays a bit. However, keeping in mind the thought of addition of beetroot extracts, I would like the tint to stay a little longer than few minutes. If you try to apply more lip balm in an attempt to get a strong tint you will fail as the formula is waxy and it hardly stays on lips.

The product quantity is 20 gms which is very huge to finish keeping in mind the miniscule amount used everyday. It would be really great if the quantity is reduced and the formula is made buttery with the use of some other plant butters. Overall speaking I find Deyga Organics Beetroot Lip Balm an average lip balm. One major advantage of this lip balm is that it doesn’t contain any essential oils. I like this fact about the product since most products contain essential oils.

Price, Shelf life and Availability – 290 INR for 20 gms with a shelf life of 8 months. Available at Deyga website and major online shopping portals.

Deyga Organics Beetroot Lip Balm Review

Deyga Organics Beetroot Lip Balm is an average lip balm if you are looking for moisturizing the lips during the day. It works better if you use as a night treatment rather than day treatment If you are using it keeping in mind the tint or long lasting moisturizing effects then this lip balm isn’t for you. If you are someone who has the habit of applying lip balm on regular intervals throughout the day then pick this up. I wish the formulation as well as the tint is improved and the quantity of the product is reduced. Also the main thing which I like about this lip balm is that it is essential oil free.
