Organic Harvest had an offer of free shipping with no minimum cart value some time back. So I picked up two face washes to review here on blog. The one am reviewing today is Neem and Tea Tree variant, another one I will review next time. I have been using both the face washes for a couple of weeks and here is my Organic Harvest Acne Control Face Wash Review.
Brand Claims
This Certified Organic Acne Control face wash fights acne-causing bacteria and helps in making the skin clear and blemish free. It contains antibacterial and anti-fungal agents like Neem and Tea Tree extracts which help in preventing acne, remove toxins and impurities from the skin.
Ingredients of Organic Harvest Acne Control Face Wash
Packaging, Consistency and Fragrance –
The face wash is housed in a flip cap top with a green and white combination tube. The consistency of the face wash is very runny. As soon as you open the cap and try to dispense the face wash, it will be already on your palm with some extra face wash which you have already squeezed as per your habit. The colour of the face wash is green, but dark hue just to show us how the neem extracts are actually present in the face wash. Am honestly not impressed with the colour as well as the consistency of the face wash. The runny consistency makes us use more product in one go and thus either drying out the skin or just wasting the extra face wash. The fragrance of the face wash is like neem, which I would say is like synthetic sort but doesn’t bother much.
My experience with Organic Harvest Acne Control Face Wash
Now I picked this face wash due to it’s ingredients Neem and Tea Tree. The face wash does a basic job of cleaning the face. If you use it more than twice a day it’s bound to dry out your skin. The face wash doesn’t lather much and when applied to wet face it disperses soon. So I would suggest you to use normal quantity when using this face wash, because it doesn’t lather much don’t take more than required quantity.
I didn’t experience any acne control while using this face wash. I don’t expect any face wash to control my acne, but it should at least not dry out my skin or work as a good cleanser in double cleansing. This face wash fairs ok according to me when used as a second step into double cleansing. I felt like it doesn’t remove all the traces of the balm am using. And I have tried a lot of balms to check whether it works well with any one of them, but results have been same. I would say use this face wash as a standalone product without including it in your double cleansing routine.
Now the consistency, it’s too runny for a face wash, like some liquid soap. As soon as you open the flip cap and turn the tube upside down it will dispense a blob of face wash on your palm. As always we squeeze face wash tubes so I always squeezed extra quantity of face wash due to the consistency. On some occasions I have even tried to put the extra face wash back into the tube by blowing up the tube so that I don’t waste the product or the excess product doesn’t dry out my skin. Also since the consideration is very runny, I was surprised to see the tubes when I received them. They were all flat on top of the tube and in transit all the face wash was deposited near the flip cap top.

Organic Harvest Acne Control Face Wash Review
Overall speaking am not much impressed with Organic Harvest Acne Control Face Wash with Organic Neem and Tea Tree extracts. It works as a basic face wash, but over using it will dry out the oily skin. Also this works great as a single cleanse rather than using as a second step in double cleansing. It doesn’t remove the balm or oil cleanser used in first step. I also have a lot of problem with the overtly runny consistency of the face wash.
