Plum Sunscreen Reviews

Plum has launched a lot of sunscreens in the past few years. Each sunscreen is made keeping in mind the skin type and beneficial ingredients for the same. The longest ever used sunscreen from the brand Plum by me is the Niacinamide Rice Water Sunscreen. It has helped me get rid of the pigmentation on my face with consistent use. It legit gives you the glass skin effect, however it is sticky and gives a slight sheen on the skin. Let’s see the review of the sunscreens I have tried from Plum. All the sunscreens were purchased by me. All the sunscreens mentioned below will suit all skin types especially dry to normal skin types.

Plum Niacinamide Sunscreen Review

It is a moisturizing, oil-free, hybrid sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum protection of SPF 50+ PA+++. The blending of the sunscreen takes time and might give white cast for deeper skin tones. It gives a moisturizing effect with a dewy finish owing to its hydrating formulation. Moreover, it doesn’t clog pores or cause any acne for my oily and acne-prone skin. It is apt to use this one on a regular basis especially in monsoons and winters since it’s not much sweat proof or waterproof. Do give it a try if you are looking for a budget friendly sunscreen that gives glass skin effect. I already have repurchased this sunscreen and love the affordable price and the efficacy of it.

Plum Squalane and Vitamin E Sunscreen Review

This is an oil-free, chemical sunscreen with new generation UV filters and offers broad-spectrum protection of SPF 50+ PA+++. It doesn’t give a hydrating bit will give a kind of mattifying effect. The texture is thick but blends easily and feels feather light on the skin. Moreover, it doesn’t clog pores or cause any acne for my oily and acne-prone skin. It doesn’t irritate the eyes and can be easily removed with or without any oil-based cleanser. I would say a sunscreen with new generation UV filters at this price point would be worth trying out.

Plum Green Tea & Zinc SPF 50 Sunscreen Gel

Plum Gel Sunscreen is oil free sunscreen that has a light texture and provides broad-spectrum protection SPF 50 and PA++++. It absorbs into the skin very well and feels as if you haven’t applied anything. It gives more of a moisturizing effect rather than matte effect. So far it hasn’t clogged pores or caused any acne for my oily, acne prone skin. It doesn’t irritate the eyes and can be removed well with a foaming cleanser makes it a good one to be used on a daily basis. The good part about this sunscreen is the reapplication as the reapplication doesn’t feel heavy on my oily skin. I prefer using this for indoors or during monsoons or winters since it’s not much waterproof or sweat proof.

Plum Niacinamide & Rice Water SPF 50 Sheer-Tinted Sunscreen

This is a fluid, moisturizing, oil-free, hybrid sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum protection of SPF 50 PA++++. The sunscreen feels exactly the same as Plum Rice water sunscreen just with an addition of slight tint. The tint is however very light and doesn’t even feel like a tinted sunscreen. Fluid texture if the sunscreen makes it a little difficult to use a lot of quantity as you may end up with an overly moisturized skin. I feel this tinted sunscreen is okay in terms of tint and if you are looking for a tinted sunscreen you can take a look at Dot and Key tinted sunscreen one as it’s highly raved across Reddit and Instagram.

That’s all for the sunscreens I have used so far from the brand Plum. Whenever I use another sunscreen from this brand I will update this blog post. Happy Skincare!
