Packaging, Texture and Fragrance

The face wash is housed in a magenta squeezable tube is plastic and has a flip cap too. Packaging is basic and travel friendly. The face wash has a little thick consistency that is opaque. The face wash has a pleasant fragrance of raspberry. It lathers up easily and we need just a pea sized amount to wash the face. The fragrance however lingers a lot. Even after using a moisturizer, the face wash fragrance doesn’t seem to go away.

My experience with Bayla Skin Raspberry Face Wash

The product is designed to be a hydrating face wash and performs perfectly well. It lathers up into a silky lather that is frothy. When you use it on the face, you will actually notice it being silky smooth on the skin. I have never experienced this before with any foaming cleanser. Some face wash that do not lather perform the same way but never a foaming face wash.

The face wash is a perfect fit for my oily yet dehydrated skin as it cleanses well without stripping off the hydration. I prefer to use it as a morning cleanser in my AM routine and as a second cleanse in my PM routine. I notice bright, clean and smooth skin with each wash. Since this face wash is hydrating in nature it cannot thoroughly remove the sunscreen as a standalone cleanser.

The face wash is washed off easily and doesn’t leave any residue behind. The only problem is the fragrance. No wonder, the fragrance feels fresh and pleasant but it lingers a lot. In my PM routine, even applying a fragrance free moisturizer, I could not help but notice the fragrance of the face wash after 30-40 minutes. The face wash performs really well in terms of hydrating the skin while gently cleansing it, but the lingering fragrance is a put off.

Pros

  • Formulation super-foods & active ingredients like raspberry extract, aloe vera extract, 0.5% hyaluronic acid & liquorice extract
  • Gently cleanses the skin to remove dirt & debris from your skin
  • Doesn’t dry out the skin or cause irritation even if you use it twice a day
  • Brightens the skin nicely and works good in providing hydration to the skin
  • Foams up nicely even in hard water supply
  • Smells pleasant like a raspberry
  • Works perfectly as a morning cleanser as well as a second cleanse in double cleansing routine
  • Will suit all skin types except sensitive skin
  • 100% Cruelty-Free, Vegan, PETA-Certified, and IFRA-Approved
  • Travel friendly packaging

Cons

  • Wish the fragrance is reduced a bit as it lingers a lot

Bayla Skin Raspberry Face Wash Review

I would recommend the Bayla Skin Raspberry Face Wash if you are looking for a good hydrating face wash. It gently yet effectively cleanses the skin without drying it. Not only the skin feels soft and smooth but also feels bright with each use of the face wash. Moreover it fits into your AM and PM routine nicely. Although the fragrance is pleasant, it lingers a lot. The fragrance takes around 30-40 minutes to fade off even after applying a moisturizer.
