ExclusiveLane – Shopping Experience and Review

Last updated on 29 May, 2021

One thing which I haven’t done since last year is buying any home decor or crockery. It’s been the last thing on my mind given what we all have been through last year and are going through this year.

I am a tea connoisseur and don’t exactly remember when I started loving tea as a beverage. Ever since the last year’s lockdown, I looked forward to my morning tea everyday. That was the only solace amid the chaos happening around. Coming to the actual problem, I didn’t shop for the tea cups since some 2 years. One by one most of my tea cups broke, are severely stained. I am left with just three tea cups (different styles and designs), one for my husband and one for me and one as an emergency when am not in the mood to wash the previously used ones.

Exclusive Lane has been to my rescue for online shopping of tea cups and coatsers. ExclusiveLane is an online craft brand started in 2012 with a vision to promote Indian handicrafts globally. It aims at helping small artisans based in different parts of India earn a living out of it.

While browsing through the website I noticed they had almost everything from dining, decor, to gardening, lighting and jewellery as well. What’s better than shopping from the Indian Artisans who glorify the traditional art form like Warli, Madhubani?

I shopped for a set of 6 tea mugs and a set of 6 wooden coasters. The website is pretty simple with a clean, neat and simple theme. The website loads normally and layout is quite simple. The shopping cart is powered by Shopify and payment is powered by Razorpay. You can read about the Shipping policy and Returns and Refunds on the website.

My shopping experience was absolutely satisfactory. I received an email at every point of order processing. I received an email after successful registration, order confirmation and order shipment. I received the package without any damage. The cups were individually packed in bubble wrap whereas the coasters were safely packed in a cardboard box. Only concern for me was the insane amount of bubble wrap to tie up both the boxes together. This is something which the brand could have avoided as both the boxes were sturdy enough to be simply handed over individually.

Overall I had a good, hassle free shopping experience on Exclusive Lane. I wish to shop with them for some wall hangings as they really caught my attention.

If you are looking to shop for some emergency dining, decor or any artisan product hop onto Exclusive Lane. I am sure you will like the products they stock up. Last but not the least shop only if you have utmost urgency. Take care, stay safe.

*I was provided a shopping voucher in exchange of a honest review regarding the shopping experience
