Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter Review
I had been meaning to try the Plum body butters for quite a while and what can be better than winters and a good discount to pick them up. Let’s start and see if the Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter lives up to the claims of being a good body butter!
The tangy after-taste? or the flavour loaded with goodness? the sugar rush, maybe? many reasons, one love – that dessert called berry sorbet! enriched with cold-pressed blackberry seed oil, this sumptuous body butter is a treat for your skin, and for your senses. It’s time for a larger-than-life berry sorbet experience.
Aqua (water), Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, cetearyl alcohol, ethylhexylglcerin, FDA approved colours, fragrance, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, niacinamide, phenoxyethanol, rubus fruticosus (blackberry) seed oil, stearic acid, triethanolamine
Packaging, Texture and Fragrance
The packaging of the body sorbet is big, plastic tub and is quite sturdy. The tub also has an inner lid to prevent spillage. Plum accepts their empty plastic containers and tubes to recycle, so you can send it back to them or reuse according to your own needs. The texture of the sorbet is thick and not so buttery sort. Although the consistency is good and spreads easily on the skin. The Berry Sorbet body butter has a yummilious blackberry scent that is literally heaven! It is very pleasing and not so lingering. It does feel good once applied and gives a soothing feeling. The colour of the body butter is baby pink.
Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter has a thick creamy texture and gets applied on the skin easily. The texture is definitely easy to work with. The body butter instantly gets absorbed into the skin with a few strokes. It nicely blends into the skin and does not leave any sticky residue or greasy feeling. It settles into a nice finish, which might feel little uncomfortable during the winter season. You will need some good amount of product to properly moisturize the arms and legs, especially if you have dry skin.
Coming of the effectiveness as a body butter, it nicely moisturizes the skin and leaves it soft and supple. To be honest, I did expect a buttery consistency for this product. Considering that it is winter season now, dry skin will certainly needs a nourishing body butter and the Plum Body sorbet might not be sufficient! Even though the product has Shea Butter as an ingredient, it is a not a body butter and won’t work like body butter!
It can be used by people with normal to combination and not dry skin. If you are someone with very dry skin, then this won’t suffice the need! Over all speaking Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter is not a body butter and will be suitable for the normal skinned beauties. Considering the price we pay I would definitely expect intense moisturization from a body butter and Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter doesn’t fit as a body butter.

Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter Review
Plum Berry Sorbet Body Butter is a nice option to use if you have normal skin. The yummy fragrance feels nice and product moisturizes the skin nicely without a greasy or oily feel. However the product is nothing close to a body butter, be it in terms of consistency or efficiency. This won’t be sufficient for dry skin beauties. Considering the product price it would be good to pickup on offer only. Also remember Plum take back their empties of plastic for recycling so that’s one way to contribute to less litter.
