Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Toner Review

I dispense 2-3 drops of toner on my palm and pat it on my face. I am truly amazed at how quickly the toner sinks into the skin without any sticky or watery feel. For review purpose, I have also experimented with an extra amount of toner like 4-5 drops and it definitely feels a little sticky and a layer sort on face if applied in this amount. I use it beneath my day cream or moisturizing gel or my favourite sunscreen and it works perfectly for me.

It is better to stick to 2-3 drops considering the amazing effects of the Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Toner. Using a cotton pad to apply the toner would be sheer product wastage and applying the toner directly with palms is a good idea to reduce wastage. A 7 step or 10 step routine doesn’t work for my skin, so I haven’t tried the skincare layering with the toner. Although I do think this will work well given the watery consistency of the toner.

The toner is basically meant to soothe the skin and my skin as such isn’t sensitive. However my skin does get dehydrated with regular usage of gel based moisturizer or by skipping my day time routine. Yes, you read that right and let me honest to tell that I skip my morning routine sometimes and by the end of the day my skin gets dehydrated and dull.

The sole reason now am following my day time routine has to be the Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Toner. My skin is definitely looking healthy and plump with a regular usage of 4 weeks of this toner. The best thing about this toner is, amazing ingredients like Bamboo water, Glycerine and Hyaluronic acid which are soothing and hydrating in nature.

The sides of my nose are a bit sensitive and turn pink if I regularly don’t use a sunscreen or if I don’t follow my day time routine. Before getting into skincare, some 5 years ago, I used to scratch the sides of nose due to dryness in winters. So, whenever I applied my Plum Green Tea Mask it would tingle a bit for a few seconds and then it would be normal. I have ignored this thing and the area turns pink sometimes.

With the regular usage of the toner the sensitivity of the sides of my nose has vanished and I can no longer feel the tingling sensation of my favourite green tea mask. Let me see if the sensitivity gets healed for once and all by this toner. I will be updating this post once I empty the toner.

The toner will be a boon to sensitive skin or anyone who is into actives and looking for a soothing toner. The toner can be used as a hydrating toner for all skin types. If you are into layering of skincare products, do try this out if you can. I am sure you will not be disappointed. With the increasing use of actives in skincare routine by literally everyone, this toner will be very beneficial when you are using actives or even if you have a simple routine.

  1. Slighly expensive but I'm amazed at how it cures the nose sensitivity. The sides of my nose turn red and darken over time. I always am hesitant to use toners since I've got a sensitive skin. This sounds like a very good find. Thanks for the detailed review! <3

  2. I have so many reasons to try this toner. Bamboo water, glycerine and hyaluronic acid are pretty enough for instigating me to get this. Thanks for sharing. Btw, I use toner with my palms.
