I have reviewed Amara Organix Body Butter, Bodywash and lotion earlier. Today am going to review the soaps by the brand. I received Lavender soap and Raktachandan soap for review. Let’s hop on to the review as the brand claims are not there by the brand.
The soaps are packaged in a transparent sheet with th brand label and a cute satin lace tied up. It would be great if there is a cardboard box to prevent any direct damage to the soaps.
Lavender soap Ingredients
Vegetable glycerin, Coconut oil, Vitamin e, Sodium cocoate, Purified distilled water, Lavender essential oil
Raktachandan soap Ingredients
Veg glycerin, Coconut oil, Vitamin E, Sodium cocoate, Purified distilled water, Raktachandan extract ( red sandalwood extract), Sandalwood oil
The fragrance of Lavender soap is amazing and the colour of the soap is lavender. The fragrance of Rakta Chandan soap is similar to that of the actual Rakta Chandan stick. The colour is also dark red.
The fragrance of both the soaps is not at all lingering and bothering. Else some soaps have strong fragrance which lingers and we feel like we still are in the shower :P.
The soaps lather quite well and are not at all drying for the skin. The lather is foamy and a bit bubbly. The soaps are more sort of glycerin rather than milky. The skin is squeaky clean, soft and fresh post usage of the soaps. I particularly like the lavender soap more than the Rakta Chandan variant. The soaps like other handmade soaps lead to wastage when not dried properly or used directly under the stream of water. But as long as the product has no harmful fillers, that’s not a problem for me.
- Handmade soaps without fillers
- Foam quite well
- Doesn’t dry out the skin
- Make skin smooth and soft post use
- Contain the goodness of Lavender and Raktachandan in respective soaps
- May lead to wastage when used under direct stream
- Cardboard outer packaging
Price, shelf life and availability – Lavender – 120 INR for 100g and Rakta Chandan 150 INR for 100g and available on Facebook page of Amara Organix
I would totally recommend the soaps from Amara Organix as they don’t have harmful fillers unlike commercial soaps. The soaps perform their job well and are decently priced. Soaps last longer if kept away from direct stream of water. Else leads to wastage. Overall barring this point the soaps are totally worth the price at which they are offered.
Tell me your thoughts 🙂
